But them furreners would take their jobs if they didn’t vote that way. At least if they have the same sentiment of my fellow Muricans.

What worries me, as an armchair historian, is that I think we are witnessing the relighting of nationalism. Not patriotism, that’s a good thing. But nationalism, the kind that starts wars. We’re seeing it in the US with Trump, and the specter rears its head in England now. There’s good reason to believe that the UK, or what’s left of it, will break up, since Scotland and Northern Ireland voted decisively to stay. Sinn Fein, ever the opportunists, immediately called for a referendum to reunite Ireland. And England’s move could spur other Euro countries to leave as well. There is no doubt that the EU is not a perfect organization, and it needs reform. But a weakened Europe plays directly into Putin’s hand. I can see why, on an emotional level, many Brits voted to leave. But these decisions are best made rationally. Sadly, in the age of the sound byte, few voters really bother to form an educated opinion. If something sounds good and fits their particular set of values, it must be true.

it seems everyone votes thinking that they can force other countries to work with them how they want them to. They forget proper diplomacy is a thing. When every country tries to bully every other country that is when people start fighting and nobody will win.
